Playing Out

Play as subversion, ownership of our own space, is there a ‘level playing field’, how do things play out? An interactive exhibition made in response to community conversations, exploring our connections with place and space as our own playing fields.
Featuring collaboratively designed flyposters and walking trails, visitors were invited to respond by adding to the gallery walls using the paint and pens provided. With these playful additions, the exhibition constantly changed and developed – growing up into a riot of colour and celebration of play.
