In 2019 SAW released a publication. The publication was the outcome of many months of self reflection and careful consideration, within it’s pages we sought to explore and explain what SAW is, what it has been, and what it aims to be as an organisation. The content begins with this prayer of welcome, which is used to open most events at SAW.

May this place be a place of welcome
For those who are here for the first time
And those who have been before,
Whatever we believe and wherever we have come from
May this place be a meeting place,
For meeting one another and for meeting God
Where each of us in our uniqueness is valued and loved
May this place be a hospitable place
For strangers to become friends
And individuals to build community
May this place be a transforming place
For creativity and for imagination
Where together we grow in hope and strive for change
May this place be a place of blessing
For inspiration and encouragement for us
And through us, to our community and the world.
