Creative Advice Lunches

Every year Shieldfield Art Works runs Take Over, a series of open call opportunities for three artists or groups of artists to put on their own exhibitions in the SAW gallery with support and guidance from SAW staff.

This year in the run up to the Take Over call out SAW will be hosting three sessions offering inspiration and advice for anyone – whether you are considering applying to Take Over; want to learn about what SAW looks for in proposals; or just interested to hear from the artists visiting about their work. These sessions will be open to anyone but will be particularly helpful for those who are early in developing their practice or are seeking guidance on how to put together a successful art exhibition. These sessions are funded by Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

For more information on Take Over please review last year’s call out here.
