In light of government advice in relation to Coronavirus, and in line with other public art galleries, the SAW building was closed from March 2020 – September 2021. This included exhibitions, Painting For Fun & Mixing Bowl.

We believe that art speaks to our souls, enriches our lives and supports our mental health. So for some creative sustenance Mixing Bowl continued to meet on Zoom twice a month and produced a creative blog twice a month here.

In May 2020, we launched a creative programme (in colloboration with Dwellbeing) which you could engage with during lockdown.
