20th November 2019

I hope this blog post reaches you well. I wanted to let you know that from Tuesday 26th November 2019 I will no longer working at Shieldfield Art Works (SAW) as I step down from my responsibilities as Director and move into research based practice with William Leech Research Fellowship and new creative projects. I will still continue to work in Shieldfield working on theĀ Dwellbeing and Shieling projects. It’s been a real honour working with and alongside so many of you and I’m really grateful for the support you have shown me personally and SAW (Holy Biscuit) as an organisation over these past 9 years.
I am proud of how much we have achieved as an organisation and the impact we are making in the spheres of art, theology and community activism and particularly as we renewed our focus and vision with the rebrand this year. I am proud of the team that I leave behind and have every confidence in their ability to take the work onwards and upwards and uphold the values of Hospitality, Art & Enquiry, Community Activism and Rest & Rhythm rooted in faith in a God who cares deeply for the world and its flourishing and fullness.
It has been truly a thrilling ride and I’m so thankful for the grace, love and joy I have been privileged to experience through so many people and projects. Please do continue to be involved in the project as it steps into a new phase in it’s life. If you can give time, energy, expertise or cash to the project it will be most gratefully received.
